As a recent graduate concentrated in veterinary medicine and research, I am thrilled to embark on my academic journey at the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine at Rowan University, marking a significant milestone as New Jersey's first veterinary school. My lifelong passion for animal care and companionship has shaped my academic pursuits and career aspirations. For the past year and a half, I've worked as a veterinary assistant in a busy hospital, where I've gained practical experience in exams, treatments, and surgical procedures. This role has taught me the importance of compassion and communication in supporting pet owners during routine visits and challenging times. I take great pride in providing empathetic care to animals and their families, finding fulfillment in being part of their healthcare journey. In addition to my clinical experience, I am excited to take on a new role as a dog walker and pet sitter, eager to connect with the wonderful pets I'll care for through walks, playtime, and cuddles. I am committed to treating every animal with kindness and compassion. As I pursue my veterinary degree, I look forward to expanding my knowledge and skills through hands-on experiences with animals in various settings.
